We are currently partnered with the Solan Connor Fawcett Family Cancer Trust, a charity founded by Mark Solan. Inspired by his own experiences, Mark established the Trust to support ‘warriors’ and their families affected by a cancer diagnosis or bereavement. The charity provides vital emotional, physical and practical support at an incredibly challenging time.
Although based in Spennymoor, the Trust supports families across the wider Durham and Tees Valley area. Hewitts has pledged to raise funds for the charity throughout 2025, with a number of events planned during the year. We are proud to be working alongside such a dedicated local charity that does so much for our community
In addition to fundraising for local charities, we actively support local schoolchildren and community sports clubs. Members of our team have also served on the boards of several charitable organisations, giving their time, experience and expertise to causes that matter locally.
